Anna McKinney, MA, LMHC
Anna (she/her) graduated from Northwest University (Kirkland, WA) with a Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2017. From 2016-2020, she worked in community mental health with clients experiencing a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and PTSD.
Prior to entering graduate school, Anna earned a bachelor's degree in education from Alvernia University (Pennsylvania) in 2004. After returning to Washington State she worked as an educator and private tutor in addition to homeschooling her children for over 6 years. She enjoys a variety of hobbies mostly centered around the arts, crafting, gardening, animals, and the outdoors. Beginning in high school, Anna served in many capacities as a volunteer and strongly values the role community plays in an individual’s overall health and well-being.
Anna primarily provides adult mental health counseling via a telehealth platform. Other services may be available on a case by case basis. These services may include child and adolescent therapy, educational consulting, group therapy, and family therapy. Anna is licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
